中文摘要 |
Purpose: this study was to investigate the effect of Ganoderma lucidum supplementation and exhaustive exercise in rat. Methods: forty male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups: control (C, n=10), exhaustive exercise (E, n=10), Ganoderma lucidum (G, n=10), Ganoderma lucidum-exhaustive exercise (GE, n=10). The amount of Ganoderma lucidum supplementation was 40 mg/kg body weight for four weeks. In the adaptive period, rats of E and GE were accustomed to treadmill running for a week. Exhaustive exercise was performed on a rodent treadmill with the progressive protocols. Two way ANOVA was performed to examine the effects of exhaustive exercise and Ganoderma lucidum supplementation on glucose, lactate, lactate dehydrogenase, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine. Results: the level of lactate, lactate dehydrogenase, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine in E group were significantly higher (p<.05) than C group, while glucose was significantly lower (p<.05) than C group. Furthermore, the activities of lactate dehydrogenase, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine in GE groups were lower (p <.05) than E group, while glucose was significantly higher (p<.05) than E group. Conculsions: Ganoderma lucidum supplementation could effectively maintain glucose homeostasis and decrease lactate dehydrogenase, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine after exhaustive exercise and could beneficially reduce exercised-induced fatigue. |
