本研究利用文獻記載具有抗菌性及生物活性功效之中藥材:紫草及槐花,利用索氏萃取法進行中藥成分萃取形成中藥萃取物。而在中藥敷材的製作方面,本研究運用射頻電漿對於聚酯不織布進行表面活化處理,以不同接枝方式(Pad-Dry及Heat Immobilized)接枝萃取物於材料表面,之後以接觸角觀察材料之親水化性質,最後對於材料進行生物活性之測試:抗菌活性試驗及材料細胞毒性。 研究結果發現,以4種不同方式接枝萃取物於聚酯不織布製成中藥敷材,以plasma-heat immobilized (P-HI)的方式的接枝率為最佳,且接枝萃取物後均有明顯改善親水性。對於敷材的抗菌性而言,以P-HI方式接枝紫草對於金黃色葡萄球菌、表皮葡萄球菌及綠膿桿菌效果較佳。而敷材之細胞毒性結果顯示,大部分敷材之細胞毒性均為0級,具有良好的生物活性。因此,本研究發現以紫草萃取物具有最佳抑制細菌生長的作用,而以槐花萃取物具有良好之生物活性作用,但是當兩種萃取物相互混合後並未有加成的作用已達到更佳的生物活性,所以未來可進一步將中藥單一成分分離出,將最具療效之成分相互混合以達到最佳療效,以製成具有良好生物活性之中藥敷材。 |

In this study, two Chinese herbs-Lithospermi Radix and Sophora japonica L. were extracted by Soxhlet extractive process. In the process of making herbal dressing, poly (ethylene terephthalate) nonwoven fabric was pretreated using radio frequency plasma to increase surface activation, followed by Pay-Dry or heat-immobilized with Chinese herb extracts. The dressings were characterized using contact angle, antibacterial and cytotoxicity assays. In the results of the herbal dressing test, Plasma-heat immobilized (P-HI) method was the best by the grafted rate. As for the characteration of dressings, the results showed the dressings with grafted extract were more hydrophilic than untreated PET nonwoven. In the anti-bacterial assays of the dressing, the dressing grafted Lithospermi Radix with P-HI method inhibited the growth of Staph. aureus, Staph. epidermidis and Psendomonas aeruginosa. The cytotoxicity of heral dressings almost were 0 grade to the test standard, the purport was the herbal dressings had bioactivity, especially Sophora japonica L.. Therefore, our results showed Lithospermi Radix extract was the best in antibacterial activity and Sophora japonica L. extract was the best in anti-inflammation activity. However two extracts mixed together, the curative effect was not the best. In the future, it will mix with their advantage of herb, and making herbal dressings have the better curative effect. |
