本研究以台灣南部某淨水場之方形流體化結晶軟化床,以系統性的規劃方法,就不同方向、不同深度的水體與結晶顆粒進行採樣,分析總硬度、總鹼度、pH、結晶顆粒之粒徑、孔隙度、均勻係數等,以評估該流體化結晶軟化床之流況。研究結果發現,方形流體化軟化床的流況反應易受進水噴嘴及加藥點阻塞而反應不均,致使同床各向出流水的總硬度與pH值差異甚大,並很難達到總硬度與總鹼度間的化學平衡,但在整床反應上,在軟化床高度從底部算起在0.5~2.0 m間,其總硬度即已軟化完成至出流水總硬度值。而對於進水與加藥反應不均之狀況,本研究也提出三點改善建議。

英文摘要

In this study, a square fluidized pellet softener in a drinking water treatment plant in southern Taiwan was systematically diagnosed to evaluate its flow condition and performance by analyzing the total hardness, total alkalinity, pH, particle size of crystalized pellet, porosity, and uniformity coefficient. Result shows that the measured total hardness and pH value in the effluent from different directions in the pellet softener varied a lot and were susceptible to flow pattern as well as disproportionate dosing of NaOH due to the blocked nozzle by crystallized CaCO3. As a result, it is hard to reach the chemical equilibrium between total hardness and M-alkalinity. However, at 0.5~2.0 m above the bottom of the pellet softener, the total hardness was as same as that in the effluent. In this study, we also proposed some suggestions for improving disproportionate inflow and NaOH dosing problems.
