在搭乘鐵道的過程，無論是火車站、月台甚至手上的車票都能成為圖像符號。尤其是火車票，承載著旅程的情感回憶。本研究分兩階段，第一先從符號學觀點對車票進行分析，並透過問卷了解大眾對於車票的認知與感受，第二則結合插畫，以車票符號做為發想，在「形」與「義」之間，藉由符號轉化的過程，傳達車票符號意義和激發共鳴。

In addition to the essential functionality of proof of ticket purchase, the train ticket has also become an attribute of historical development of railway culture that carries the emotional memory of every ride. This study is divided into two stages: semiotic theory is applied to analyze and summarize tickets to grasp the connotation and denotative meaning of the symbolism during the first stage; then a questionnaire is used to investigate the public's perception and reception towards the symbolism of the ticket, which in turn provide the analysis and conclusion of the connotation and denotative meaning of the symbolism of the ticket. In the second stage, While recording the process of illustration creation, the recombination of ticket symbols, graphics and component elements is utilized to allow the symbols to transform into specific visual images through the works. The process of symbolic transformation between "form" and "meaning" is explored to seek not only the consensus and interpretation of visual image symbolic cognition but also the conformity of method and structure of semiotic theory visualization with the aim of awakening the public's experience and feelings of riding a train.
