犬傳染性呼吸道疾病,是一種高接觸性傳染疾病,主要藉由飛沫傳播,好發在幼年及老年犬隻,造成上呼吸道的症狀,如咳嗽、流鼻水和呼吸困難。病毒病原主要有犬第二型副流感病毒(canineparainf1uenza virus type 2, CPiV-2)、犬瘟熱病毒(canine distemper virus, CDV)、犬呼吸道型冠狀病毒(canine respiratory coronavirus, CRCo V)、犬腺病毒第二型(canine adenovirus type 2, CAV-2)以及犬疱疹病毒(canine herpesvirus, CHV)。目前雖有疫苗可以施打,但此病爆發仍常發生。在診斷方面,主要藉由聚合酶連鎖反應(polymerase chain reaction, PCR),以及市面上已有的商業化檢驗套組可檢測眼鼻分泌物。在台灣已有針對犬呼吸道疾病病原的研究調查,但因地區、年齡及環境等因素的不同,其真實情形仍然需更多的研究來支持。本文將綜論病原之間的關係及病原流行病學的異同。

英文摘要

Canine infectious respiratory disease is a high contagious disease. The main transmission route is via infectious droplets. Generally, the disease occurs in younger and elder dogs, and causes upper respiratory syndromes, such as cough, nasal discharge and dyspnea. The viral pathogens are mainly canine parainfluenza virus type 2, canine distemper virus, canine respiratory coronavirus, canine adenovirus type 2, and canine herpesvirus. Although vaccines against the diseases are commercialized, the outbreaks are recorded often. Polymerase chain reaction and many commercial diagnostic kits, which detect viruses in dog's nasal discharge, are available. In Taiwan, some studies have been done to investigate the causative agents of this disease. However, because geographical, environmental and age factors are vary in different studies, a true image is still worthy of study. In this paper, the differences in conclusions in papers relating to the pathogens of this disease and its epidemiology are discussed.
