混合研究法目前已步入國際學術領域，過去研究質化與量化各自獨立，質化的只重文字的敘述研究，量化只求數字的計算研究；近年來許多的研究已經漸漸的脫離各自獨立模式，而以混合研究的方式進行，同時結合質化與量化（Tashakkori & Teddlie, 2003）。因此在本篇文章中，提供相關混合研究法的概念，讓更多研究邁向國際的研究。
