本文旨在探討籃球運動員選材的科學方法，採用文獻探討質的研究，期以建立國內籃球選材的基本概念與理論，從國內外大陸與國外學者相關的研究文獻結果發現下列數點，可作爲國內籃球運動員選材檢測的項目內容與步驟。 一、籃球運動員選材應注意的問題： （一）注意選擇“遺傳性大、可塑性小”的指標。 （二）選材指標要反映籃球運動的特點。 （三）正確處理選材工作中的選材與育材的結合過程。 a.正確處理選材過程與選材重點的關係。 b.正確處理客觀測試與專家評定的關係。 c.正確處理測試與平時觀察的關係。 d.正確處理簡單測試與複雜測試的關係。 二、籃球運動選材工作應分爲四個步驟進行： （一）家系調查－身高、臂長、體重、體型、家族病史、出生順序、運動能地背景等。 （二）生長發育狀況調查。 （三）籃球專項選材指標調查。 （四）綜合評價與分析。

The purpose of the study was to discuss a scientific method of chousing basketball stuff. This study aimed to establish basic concepts and theories for chousing basketball stuff of our nation by reviewing both domestic and international literatures. The findings of the study were described as followings and hopely could be used as the contests and procedures in testing basketball players. 壹、Notices of chousing basketball stuff (1) Chousing ”high heredity but low plasticity” as an index sign. (2) The index sign of chousing basketball stuff has to reflect the characteristics of basketball. (3) The combined procedures of chousing and evaluating basketball stuff have to be managed correctly. a. The relations between chousing procedures and characteristics have to be managed correctly. h. The relations between objective test and professional assessment have to be managed correctly. c. The relations between general test and general observation have to he managed correctly. d. The relations between simple test and complicate test have to be managed correctly. 貳、Four procedures in chousing basketball stuff (1) Investigating family hereditary history such as height, long arm. weight, physical appearance. birth ordinal and abilities of doing exercises. (2) Investigating players' growth process. (3) Investigating the index signs of chousing basketball stuff. (4) General and comprehensive assessment and analysis.
