本研究旨在探討工作滿意度與生命的意義之關係。由現有的文獻Judge & Watanabe（1993）與Zhou & George（2001）雖然可以推測工作滿意度與員工生命的意義之關聯性，卻產生不一致的結果，顯見過去的研究尚有不足，無法從現有的文獻中得到解答。本研究以問卷調查的方式收集資料，針對從事製造業的員工進行施測，總共發出200份問卷，刪除無效問卷之後，有效問卷為174份，以迴歸分析進行研究假設之實證。研究結果顯示當員工工作滿意度愈高，其生命的意義就愈高。最後，根據實證結果提出實務建議與未來研究之建議。

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction and purpose in life. Previous research has shown that an unclear relationship may exist between job satisfaction and purpose in life. A total of 174 employees, recruited from manufacturing, completed a self-report questionnaire. The results of the regression analysis show that the job satisfaction is positively correlated with purpose in life. Practical implications for future studies are also provided.
