本研究旨在探討在不同坡度使用登山杖與護膝對於登山者生理成本之影響。共10位男性受試者參與實驗,每位受試者均在負重8 公斤背包下,檢定登山杖(單杖、雙杖、徒手)、護膝(有無穿戴護膝)以及坡度(平地、上坡、下坡)共十八種組合,對於心搏率 (HR)和主觀知覺施力評量(RPE)之效應。結果發現:(1)登山杖對於HR 和整體RPE 具有顯著的效應,徒手的心搏率顯著大於單杖和雙杖,且三者之間具有顯著差異,徒手的整體RPE 平均值最高,顯著大於雙杖,而單杖與雙杖兩者間無顯著差異。(2)坡度對於HR 和整體RPE 具有顯著的效應,以上坡的心搏率和整體RPE 平均值最高,其次為下坡,而以平地為最低,且三者間都具有顯著差異。(3)護膝對於HR 並無顯著效應,對於膝蓋及大腿的RPE 有顯著效應 。整體而言,本研究建議登山者在上下坡時應使用護膝和登山杖以降低生理成本,並保護膝蓋和增加腿部的支撐力。

英文摘要

This study explores the trekking pole and knee pad effects on the physiological costs of climbers on different slopes. A total of 10 male subjects were recruited in this study. Each subject carried an 8-kg backpack. The number of poles (single pole, double poles, unarmed hand), knee pad (with or without wearing knee pads) and slope (flat, uphill, downhill) effects on the heart rate (HR) and rating of perceived exertion (RPE) for a total of 18 combinations were tested. The results showed that: (1) Trekking pole had a significant effect on HR and overall RPE. The heart rate with the unarmed hand was significantly higher than that with a single pole and double poles. There was a significant difference among the three groups. The average RPE for the unarmed hand was the highest, significantly larger than that with double poles. There was no difference between the single and double poles. (2) Slope has a significant effect on HR and the overall RPE. The average HR and overall RPE moving uphill were the largest, followed by downhill and the flat surface. There was a significant difference among the three groups. (3) The knee pads produced no significant effect on HR; however they have a significant effect on the knee and thigh RPE. Overall, this study suggests that climbers should use knee pads and trekking poles while moving uphill and downhill to reduce the physiological costs, protect the knees and increase leg support.
