雷射雕刻機運用高功率密度的雷射光束,瞬間汽化或熔化材料而形成雕刻效果,對被加工材料表面影響小,不會使加工品材料變形或產生刮痕,雕刻材料從紙張、壓克力、布料、真皮、木頭甚至是金屬等都能應用,其速度快、品質好且其光束極細可達到精細圖案之雕刻,突破以往傳統雕刻之限制。近來政府極力推動文化創意產業,其中紙製品不論是透過印刷或雷射雕刻的應用都能提升其美感及附加價值,本研究目的在探討雷射加工技術應用於瓦楞類紙的切割與半雕品質,結果顯示雷射雕刻僅適合雕透E浪以下厚度的瓦楞紙,較厚的瓦楞紙由於其波浪狀芯紙的構成特質,極容易燒毀,整體而言其切割品質不佳,亦即雷射雕刻基本上僅適用於厚度薄的瓦楞紙。然而,雷射雕刻卻很適合用於半雕掃描操作,由於瓦楞紙是由面紙與芯紙所粘貼而成,半雕掃描所形成透視至芯紙的效果佳,也因此與浪板紙類無關(僅雕透面紙)。實驗證明瓦楞紙半雕的最細小直線間距可達0.2mm,而最細小線條寬度則為0.1mm;字型字級半雕測試方面,不論中英文何種字型12pt大小文字的皆有優良品質。總之,瓦楞紙主要適合雷射雕刻的半雕掃描效果,當雷射功率在20~60%之間時,輔以400mm/s的雕刻速度,可使瓦楞紙的面紙產生很好的雕刻品質。

英文摘要

Laser engraver can vaporize or melt materials in a flash by high power density of the laser beam so that the processed materials are less likely to be skewed or scratched. This apparatus can be applied to materials such as paper, acrylic, fabric, leather, wood, and even metals. With its high speed, and authentic quality, which shows exquisite engraving patterns through the fine beam, laser engraving really goes beyond the limits of traditional engraving. Recently, the Taiwan government was promoting the cultural and creative industries, and through printing or laser engraving, paper products can promote their beauty and value. The purpose of this study was to investigate the attributes and qualities of laser engraving with various types of corrugated paper. A laser engraving test target was developed and tested. The experiment showed that laser engraver was only capable of cutting through E flute corrugated and was not suitable for corrugated thicker than E flute. Due to the structure of corrugated, combination of linear board and corrugated, it was easy to burn when engraved by laser. However, the laser engraver was suitable for scan engraving. Regardless types of corrugated flute, scan engraving can generate excellent quality. The results showed that it can reach a minimal gap between two lines of 0.2mm and generate a hairline with weight of 0.1mm. Meanwhile, it can engrave type no less than 12pt with excellent quality. In short, laser engraving with corrugated generated great scan engraving quality, especially when the laser power was about 20-60% with 400mm/s engraving movement.
