本文從家長教育選擇權之觀點討論障礙兒童暫緩入學與延長修業年限。作者認為二項教育措施應屬家長教育選擇權，教育人員宜提供家長充分資訊，使其作出對其子女有利之教育選擇。鑑輔會不宜過度以專業判斷阻擋家長之申請，以保障家長得為其子女選擇教育方式之權益。
