身心障礙學生參與個別化教育計畫在增進自我決策能力的應用

自我決策是個體內在能力的綜合表現，包括了解自我、評估自我、自我倡議、做選擇、做決定、執行決定、學習尊重自我與他人、達成目標等涵義。自我決策可以藉由與課程內容結合被培養與教導。讓身心障礙學生參與個別化教育計畫更是一具有法規基礎與實證資料的方式之一。利用多元且具體的方式引導身心障礙學生認識、了解並參與個別化教育計畫擬定的過程與內容，並於執行過程中做自我檢核，藉此過程培養身心障礙學生為自己發聲、決策的能力，讓他們可以做自己的主人。
