本研究的目的是要探討幼兒内、外在行為問题發生的情形，以及與父母期待、親職壓力間的關係。研究樣本是台中縣六個鄉镇298位就讀托兒所的幼兒與其家長，研究工具使用幼兒行為檢核表和職壓力量表。主要的研究結果發現：(l)在幼兒的内在行為問题部分，發生頻率最高的是「尤鬱或焦慮」：而外在行為部分，發生頻率最高的是「攻擊行為」(2)比較父母感受和各項幼兒行為表現間差異，「身體狀况抱怨」和「攻擊行為」兩項，感受值與實際行為間的落差存在顯著差異(3)職壓力量表總得分對幼兒内在與外在行為問题都是有效的預測因子。研究討論部份提出對幼兒行為問题的發现和輔導須注意的事項，還有對日後親職教育内容和紓解職壓力方法的建議。
