The purpose of the study is to examine the profession competency for Taiwan and Mainland China with Physical Education Pre-service Teacher. Questionnaires study was used in the study which 218 students of National Taiwan University of Physical Education and Sport (NTUPES) and 227 students with student in Beijing sport university (BSU). The data of questionnaire survey were analyzed by Item Analysis, Explore Factors Analysis, Discriminate Analysis, Two-way ANOVA, and stepwise regression Analysis. The results of the study are described as the followings:1. The students with NTUPES had better profession competency than the students with BSU. 2. Taiwan and Mainland China of students was different in gender, department, work experience and player level for profession competency. According to the results from questionnaires study, some suggestions for teaching intervention and future studies.
