Technical and Tactical Characteristics of Elite Female Player Pei-Ling Su in Different Periods Through the 3S Theory

目的：以3S理論分析女子桌球選手蘇珮綾在2020及2021賽事，並將2個時期共10場比賽的技戰術特性進行比較，以了解選手在各項指標之變化。方法：採現場錄影方式，使用3S理論所開發之桌球技戰術分析系統記錄每一球速度、旋轉與落點及得、失分結果，並統計5板模式。結果：2020發球以慢速中間短、中間半出檯的側下旋與側上旋做搭配，在2021改以下旋為主，且落點新增正手位短球；接發球從原本的搓球為主根據建議在2021改以擺短為主，主要落點於中路位；第3板發現兩個時期有正手拉球逢斜回斜之落點特性；第4板2020因較常搓長故回擊技術較為被動，經建議於2021變得較為主動；相持球從2020的明顯弱勢經過強化後於2021變得雙方在伯仲之間。結論：2021的表現因2020提供之分析幫助選手經過訓練後取得良好回饋，各模式皆有所提升；根據本發現在使用3S理論及結合技戰術分析後給予教練與選手適當回饋建議，並進行追蹤研究了解選手每個階段的優缺點，能使選手更有效率的進步。

Purpose: To analyze the elite female table tennis (TT) player Pei-Ling Su's matches with the 3S theory, and compare the technical and tactical characteristics of altogether ten games in two periods (2020 and 2021) to identify the changes in various indicators of the player. Methods: With the aid of live video recording, and using the intelligent simulation and analysis system software of TT skills and tactics developed following the 3S theory, we analyzed the speed, spin, landing spot of each ball, and the results of winning and losing points. We also analyzed five-shot patterns. Results: Regarding the serve, Pei-Ling Su in 2020 usually used side-down spin and side-top spin with low speed, middle line short shot or middle half out; in 2021 she modified the use of back spin mainly, and an increase of forehand short shots on the drop point. Concerning the receive, she used long push mainly in 2020 and altered to drop shot in 2021, according to the suggestion, and the main landing spots were both in the middle position. As for the third shot, she had the similar problem of maintaining the same landing spots for both periods. About the forth shot, the returning technique was more passive because she usually used long push, which became more active on the basis of the suggestion in 2021. With respect to the rally, she was in obviously disadvantageous in 2020, which improved to equal level against her opponents after accentuation training. Conclusion: All the patterns of Su's game data in 2021 improved significantly due to the good response of training by the performance analysis and proper suggestions in 2020. According to the findings of this study, giving feedback and recommendation to coaches and players after technical and tactical analysis, as well as monitoring to understand the strength and weakness of the player in different periods, which can enable a player to improve more efficiently.
