林可勝於1925-1937 的12 年間，在北平協和醫學院建立其生理學術體系，戰後他於1947 年，又重新整合軍醫教育系統，創建國防醫學中心於上海江灣。1949 年春，林可勝先將國防醫學院搬遷來台後再轉赴美重回生理學術研究領域。其學生盧致德承接國防醫學院院長職務，後又在台創辦榮民總醫院。至於來台生理學術研究則由第一代弟子柳安昌領軍，台大方懷時教授、與林氏在美弟子王世濬的協助、第二代生理弟子蔚然成軍更擴及國立陽明醫學院，第三代弟子再擴及到花蓮慈濟醫學院生理學系及研究所。林可勝的協和生理學術系譜在台灣，可謂一枝獨秀，枝繁葉茂。 |
| 英文摘要 |
During the twelve year period from 1925 to 1937, Lin established an influential academic institution in physiology at the Peking Union Medical College (PUMC). In 1947, after the Second World War, he reintegrated the system of military medical education by establishing the National Defense Medical Center (NDMC) in Jiangwan, Shanghai. In spring 1949, Lin moved the NDMC to Taiwan before he returned back to the field of physiological and academic research in the United States. His student Lu Zhide (盧致德) undertook the position as the President of the NDMC, and later founded the Veteran General Hospital in Taipei. As for the studies of physiology in Taiwan, it was led by Liu An-Chang (柳安昌) who was regarded as Lin's student of first generation and assisted by Wang Shijun (王世濬) from the United States as well as Fang Hwai Sze (方懷時), then Professor of National Taiwan University. Lin's legacy in physiology later expanded by his students of second generation with the establishment of the National Yangming (陽明) Medical College, and the students of third generation with the formation of the Institute and Department of Physiology at the Medical College of Tzu Chi (慈濟) in Hualien. Lin's influential legacy in physiology in Taiwan can be described as thriving and flourishing without a doubt. |
