人們年齡越來越大開始進入高齡期後,認知能力會慢慢開始衰退,從而可能因此面臨失能及失智的風險與生活自理能力的缺乏。有研究顯示運動訓練可以減緩甚至提升高齡者的認知功能,另外,有研究發現有氧運動可以提高組織蛋白酶B(CTSB)的水平,從而改善認知能力,現在有一種包含了有氧加肌力的複合式運動訓練,但目前為止鮮少有進行有氧和複合式運動,介入高齡者組織蛋白酶B的比較及影響的研究。因此本研究旨在從各相關文獻中去比較及觀察有氧與複合式兩種類型的運動,歸納出其對高齡者組織蛋白酶B的調控與認知功能可能受影響的層面。

英文摘要

As people age and enter the elderly stage, cognitive abilities gradually begin to decline, potentially leading to risks of disability, dementia, and a lack of self-care capabilities. Studies have shown that exercise training can slow down or even enhance cognitive function in the elderly. Additionally, research has found that aerobic exercise can increase the levels of cathepsin B (CTSB), thereby improving cognitive abilities. There is now a composite exercise training that includes both aerobic and strength exercises, but so far, there have been few studies comparing and examining the effects of aerobic and composite exercises on CTSB levels in the elderly. Therefore, this study aims to compare and observe the two types of exercises, aerobic and composite, from various related literatures, and summarize their potential impacts on the regulation of CTSB and cognitive function in the elderly.
