本研究探討易腐性商品的存貨管理，特別考量在課徵剩食稅的情境下肢最佳存貨決策。我們建立一個易腐性商品之周期性審查動態存貨管理模型，探討有限時間區間內當業者面臨政府課徵剩食稅且每一期採購價格波動的情況下，業者對具有固定效期之易腐性商品的最佳採購存貨管理策略。藉由此模型我們可觀察在政府對剩食課稅的環境下業者之最佳採購策略，並藉由調整不同之剩食稅率，分析剩食稅率的高低如何影響業者之採購決策。此外，我們以敏感度分析方式分析不同成本參數、需求假設與價格波動性，對業者最佳採購策略之影響，並進一步觀察最佳採購策略下所產生的剩食數量，探討政府透過課徵剩食稅政策對降低剩食產量之影響。

We investigate the inventory management of a perishable commodity under the demand uncertainty and the fluctuation of purchasing prices. In particular, we study the issue of food waste, and consider applying food waste tax to minimize the waste. A stochastic dynamic programming (SDP) model is proposed and solved to determine the optimal inventory ordering policy that minimizes the total cost in the finite time horizon based on the given tax rate. The decision model can be further used as a what-if analysis to determine tax rate so that the consumers can be induced to reduce the food waste. A numerical study provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model and the food waste tax. We also give some sensitivity analyses and the managerial insights.
