研究背景與目的:針對ADHD兒童的核心症狀,專家學者已經對家長提出不少建議策略,然而,除了專家的策略之外,家長亦自行採用不少策略加以因應。由於家長是ADHD兒童的主要教養者,因此來自家長所報告的成功經驗相當值得參考,不僅可提供其他ADHD家長參考,更可提供理論上的反思。因此本研究的主要目的在於以ADHD家長的觀點,探討ADHD兒童的教養策略。研究方法:採用半結構式問卷,列舉出ADHD兒童核心症狀所對應的問題行為,對ADHD家長進行訪談,瞭解家長目前採用那些策略幫助ADHD兒童因應之及其有效程度為何,且與專家策略做比較。結果與討論:家長所提出的策略有不少屬於專家策略,尤其是過動問題的因應策略最多。此外,家長所提出的有效策略為何在文中有所討論。

Background and purpose: In order to adoption the strategies offered by experts, parents of children with Attention deficit/Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) have also come up with their own coping strategies. Given that parents are the main caregivers of children with ADHD, their successful experiences are quite valuable. They not only provides practical strategies for other parents of children with ADHD, but also theoretical implications. Thus, the main purpose of the present study was to explore parents' strategies for managing the core symptoms of ADHD. Method: We adopted a semi-structured interview, listing the problems behaviors that correspond to the core symptoms of ADHD, and exploring the successful and failed strategies that parents used to manage children's ADHD symptoms. We categorized the parents' strategies of with experts' suggestions. Result and discussion: Most strategies used by ADHD children's parents overlapped with the strategies given by experts, especially the strategies used to cope with hyperactivity behaviors. In addition, the effective strategies used by parents are discussed.
