長久以來身體活動量不足已是公認影響健康的重要因素之一,由於兒童身體活動型態與成年期的身體活動有關,為了瞭解兒童的身體活動狀況,發展合適的身體活動評估工具是一件重要的工作。因為兒童有限的認知發展能力與他們習慣性的身體活動與成人習慣性的身體活動是不同的,因此世界各國有許多的學者長期致力於研究身體活動量的評估工具之研發。由於各種評估工具皆有其優點與使用上的限制,故本文主要是介紹目前常見的兒童身體活動評估工具,並評價工具在使用上的優點與缺點,以供臨床實務者在選擇身體活動評估工具時的參考。

英文摘要

Insufficiency of physical activity has been recognized as one of the critical factors that influenced health. There is a relationship between the patterns of childhood activities and adulthood physical activities For the sake of understanding childhood physical activity status, it was important to develop the appropriate physical activity measurements. Because of children's limited cognition-development ability, and their habitual physical activity differentiate from the habitual physical activity of adult, it makes the assessment of children's physical activity. Thus, worldwide researchers have devoted many efforts to developing physical activity measurement. Every instrument has its advantage and limitations. Therefore, this article will introduce the common childhood physical activity measurement and assess their merit and limitation, for clinical practitioners while they are choosing physical activity measurements.
