本文介紹臨床醫學中以證據本位(Evidence-Based Practice, EBP)的實證取向,討論如何運用於語言治療領域,並探討可能的困境與克服的方法。其中並介紹EBP中推薦研究證據的分級,提出一些臨床研究產生好證據的方法,探討如何進行治療成效的評估才能產生好證據的可行方法。文章的後半部即著眼於語言治療的成效評估,介紹損傷、失能和障礙三個層次的成效評估指標,提出運用溝通功能性的評估落實以實證為本的介入治療,最後並討論在臨床養成教育中需培養的EBP有關能力,期望在未來EBP能落實於語言治療評估與介入的實務方面。

英文摘要

Evidence-Based Practice is the present trend in modern medical health care. The aim of this article is to introduce the evidence-based practice and discuss the issues of EBP in the field of speech therapy. The level of evidence recommendation were also introduced and the methods to generate the good evidence for EBP. In addition to promoting the capability of searching evidence, this article provided a critical thinking about the quality of research evidence. In order to determine the state and quality of evidence on the effects of treatment, the outcome measurement is pretty important. In last part of this article is to introduce various indexes for outcome measurement from the perspective of impairment, disability and handicap. The importance of functional assessment was also emphasized. In order to promote EBP in speech therapy, six related ability are proposed to be incorporated in the training courses for the future speech pathologists for the expectation about the implication EBP in the field of speech therapy.
