The purpose of the research is to develop ”Technical Creativity Tests of Electronic and Electric Cluster” and to establish the norm of students from ninth grade students to 11 grade students in high school. 1,317 students in 38 high schools are used as the samplers, and the electronic fly zapper is adopted as the theme of the tests. The questionnaire contains open-ended questions to assess students' performance on fluency, flexibility, practicability and originality.
The study finds out that from the perspective of age difference, the first year students in vocational high school perform better than the other grades. From the perspective of gender difference, there is no significant difference between male and female, but male are slightly superior to female on originality. To sum up, the development of ”Technical Creativity Tests of Electronic and Electric Cluster” in the research not only is in accord with the trend of creativity tests but also comprises the practicability in technical areas. The research is an assessment with solid reliability and validity.
