本研究為一個案研究,探討台灣東部一個地方環境教育團體培力農村社區的參與歷程。本研究的研究方法主要以參與觀察爲主,輔以訪談與文件回顧等質性方法蒐集資料。由本研究的個案發現,培力農村社區的環境教育具備以下幾點特質:(一)能重新喚起農民對土地的情感;(二)在生活中實踐;(三)以對話強化行動能力;(四)環境教育者是協同者而非指導者。最後本研究根據個案的研究結果,對於未來農村環境教育的發展與實踐提出建議。 |
英文摘要 |
This is a case study to explore the process of a local environmental education group empowering a rural community in the east of Taiwan. The study collected data mainly by participant observation, partly by interviews and document review. For the development of environmental education empowering a rural community, it is found that: (a) inspiring farmers' emotion of their land is a key factor; (b) practical works in daily life could be utilized as environmental education subjects for peasants; (c) dialogue could enhance peasants' action competence; and (d) environmental educators in rural areas should be collaborators but not advisors. According to the results, recommendations for future environmental education development and instructional practice in rural areas of Taiwan were provided. |
