”Shanghai Fox Trot Dance” is the most standing work among Mu Shiying's new sensational school works. There are delicately arranged Montage structure and editing cut skills based on the idea of Montage movie. In additional to stunning loops and feeling of confrontation, it also coveys the broken and visionary look of urban city as well as life consciousness. Montage's ”Shanghai Fox Trot Dance” is not only a language stimulating the senses, but also a rational way to experience the world. The writing containing both language and picture is the strategy of Mu Shiying as writing the obsession to the city. |
