現代人由於科技文明的影響,生活型態的改變,許多人因缺乏運動,導致肌肉適能不足,加上長期姿勢不良,造成身體脊柱的兩側肌力不平均,而引起下背疼痛。統計資料顯示國內外約有80%的人曾有下背痛的經驗,大部分的患者經過治療可以獲得改善,但有20~40%的人會在1年內復發,而演變成慢性下背痛,不僅影響健康與生活品質,降低工作的生產力,也造成醫療資源的沉重負擔。研究指出下背痛患者透過腹肌和背肌的訓練,可以改善核心肌群神經肌肉控制的能力,並能維持良好的軀幹穩定度,有效治療下背痛。然而,預防重於治療,平時養成良好的的姿勢或動作習慣,並配合強化腹背部肌群與穩定腰椎的運動治療,才能有效的改善下背痛。

英文摘要

Due to the impact of modern technological civilization, many people are lack of exercise because of lifestyle changes which result in insufficient muscular. Moreover, long-term bad posture causes inequality of both sides of the spinal column muscle which further leads to lower back pain. Statistics show that about 80% of people had suffered lower back pain before. Treatment has improved patients' condition, but still 20% to 40% of them relapsed within one year and turned into a chronic lower back pain. The situation reduced work productivity, not only affecting the health and the life quality, but also being a heavy burden on healthcare resources. Researchers indicate that patients suffering from low back pain can improve the ability of the neuromuscular control and maintain good torso stability by abdominal and back muscular training in order to have effective treatment. However, prevention is better than treatment. Having good posture habits or actions, with the strengthening abdominal and back muscles, stabilizes the lumbar spine therapeutic exercise so as to effectively improve low back pain.
