本研究旨在了解女性員警的工作壓力、社會支持與工作滿意度之現況與彼此間的關連情形,並探討不同背景變項之女警在工作壓力、社會支持與工作滿意度三者之間的差異及預測情形。本研究以問卷調查法為主,並針對現職服務於高雄市各警察機關之女性員警為研究對象,共計發出451份問卷,並得有效問卷405份,可用率90%。問卷經統計分析,所得結果歸納如下: 一、女警的工作壓力屬於中等略高程度,其中以來自於「組織互動」的壓力最高。 二、女警的社會支持屬於中等略高的程度,其中以「長官支持」最高。 三、女警的工作滿意度屬於中等略高程度,其中以「外在滿意」較高。 四、中年、教育程度研究所以上、服務年資深、內勤、已婚、配偶從事警職、有子女的女警工作壓力較大;未婚、服務年資較淺、子女尚未就讀幼稚園的女警工作壓力較小。 五、服務年資淺、子女就學情形為兩者都有(未讀幼稚園以幼稚園以上)的女警社會支持較多;工作性質為內勤的女警社會支持較少。 六、工作年資淺、配偶未從事警職的工作滿意度較高;工作性質為內勤的女警工作滿意度較低。 七、女警工作壓力、社會支持與工作滿意度有顯著的相關,其中,女警的工作壓力與工作滿意度有顯著負相關;而女警的社會支持與工作滿意度則呈顯著正相關。 八、主管的支持對於工作滿意度有顯著性的預測力。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study is to explore the current situation and the correlation of work stress, social support and work satisfaction for female police members. In addition, the difference of the three factors among female police members with different demographic background is also studied. The subjects in this study are female police members in Kaohsiung. Questionnaire was the tool for data collection. There are 451 questionnaires distributed in total, and 405 valid questionnaires were returned for further statistical analysis. The results are as follows: 1.The degree of the working pressure of female police members is higher than average. Among them, organization interaction is the most severe. 2.Support from the society is higher than average. Among them, support from supervisors is the highest. 3.Working satisfaction of female police members is higher than average. Among them, external satisfaction is the highest. 4.Those who are middle age, education with graduate school and above, senior service, office staff, married and with children, having a police spouse feel much pressure. 5.Junior female police members whose children are in both two education level (not yet in kindergarten and above kindergarten) receive much support from the society. On the other hand, female police members working as an office staff receive less support from the society. 6.Junior female police members whose spouse is not a police member get higher work satisfaction and those who work as an office staff get lower work satisfaction. 7.Female police members’ work stress, social support and work satisfaction show significant correlation. Among them, work stress has negative effect on work satisfaction, and social support has positive effect on work satisfaction. 8.Support from supervisors has positive effect on work satisfaction.
