This article is a case study of taking preschoolers to participate in the mountain climbing activities, aiming at investigating parents’ reaction towards the adoption of adventure education for one semester among preschool teachers. The research targets are the primary carers of 29 preschoolers, taught by the researchers in the class of the kindergarten. The researchers adopted the action research as the strategy, through interview, survey of outing feedback, reflection journal as well as the observation from the co-teacher, to collect the data for analysis. The study showed three conclusions: firstly, the reaction of preschoolers’ parents towards the adventure education activities experienced in three stages: resistance, intervention, and support. Secondly, preschoolers’ parents found that the adventure education activity contributed to improving preschoolers’ life effectiveness. Thirdly, the adventure education activities enhanced the parents’ participation model in "learning at home". Based on the conclusion, this article provided beneficial suggestions to the parent-teacher collaboration, individually from the points of planning adventure education activities and future research directions.
