大學階段的環境教育對於環境公民的培養扮演關鍵性的角色,但是相關的研究與教學實務對話在臺灣一直沒受到足夠的重視。有鑑於此,本文以大學階段環境公民行動如何形塑為探索焦點,回顧並評析三個環境行動模式與相關課程研究,再以這些理論模式與實證研究為基礎,提出一建立在整全式學習觀點的環境公民行動模式。本模式強調大學環境教育的學習過程涵蓋理性、情感、與終極關懷三個面向,最後再根據此模式發展出一整學年的大學環境教育課程案例。期盼本文有助於提供臺灣未來發展大學環境教育課程的參考,並促進大學環境教育的學術對話。

英文摘要

Although college level environmental education plays a crucial role in the development of an environmental citizenry, it is not given adequate attention in practice or research in the field of environmental education in Taiwan. This article reports on a review of three environmental action models and some recent empirical studies related to environmental action in environmental education. The review focuses specifically on the development of environmental civic action at the college level. This article proposes a model based on holistic learning. This model has three main learning patterns, including the mind, heart, and soul. A college level environmental course based on this model is also developed. Implications for program development and instructional practice in college level environmental education in Taiwan are presented.
